Studio APVIS was invited by the Boston Brilliance Festival to create a light art installation for the 2025 edition, illuminating the façade of The Assembly Rooms with a dynamic projection titled Swing Ball.

For years, The Assembly Rooms have been a hub for dance, where rhythm and movement have shaped unforgettable moments. This projection mapping piece reimagines the building as a living, dancing entity, bringing its rich history to life through motion and music.

Inspired by Jazzimation, Studio APVIS fused hand-drawn 2D animation with dynamic 3D projection to craft a mesmerizing visual experience. The façade twists, sways, and leaps in harmony with vibrant bursts of color and light, celebrating the enduring magic of movement.
