ACM Safe house

Client ACM | Project Presentation International Conference Of Human Trafficking, Sweden

For ‘A National Conference on Prostitution and Trafficking for Sexual Purposes’, Sweden, Studio APVIS peeps a day at Amsterdam’s Coordination Point Human Trafficking where women live in a Safe House. For privacy reasons we don’t show the women in the save house.

At the ACM save house they try to help their clients in a relatively new way. They give the trafficking victims shelter in return to testify or officially report, to the police, the criminal activities that have taken place. The victims are often illegal and not allowed to work. Instead of locking them up with nothing else to do than think about the crime that happend, the women can take part in this project. ACM tries to give the enslaved women enough self-esteem to take care of themselves. One way to help them is by honest work and ordinary people.
